"Maybe we have strong water pressure. I don't know. I tried this faucet for 8 months and last weekend my DH ripped it out for me. Yes, it worked just fine. But every evening when I cleaned up the kitchen, I walked away with water all over the front of my clothes from this thing splashing water. It was on me. Behind the sink. On the side of the counter (where the sink meets counter). I was tired of it. Water everywhere.

So we took it out and put in an American Standard Fairbury. No more splashing. My clothes are dry when I clean the kitchen. The counter is dry. The water only goes in the sink where it belongs. I no longer get sprayed when I put a dish or bowl under the stream of water.

Sorry Kohler. We won't be back.

"This faucet looks and feels high quality. On the nozzle, it has a little button to switch from spray to normal as well as one that will stop the flow temporarily while you hold it (for say, filling something up that is sitting on the counter without having to use your other hand to stop the water at the handle). The spray is powerful and rinses food and such off effectively.

I would recommend getting the set with the soap dispensing pump in it together if you want that option as buying it separately in the vibrant stainless color is very expensive." – aglowucannotsee

"This faucet is awesome! Every time I use it, it puts a smile on my face... and I've had it for a couple of months now. I can turn it on and off with my pinky finger. The pull down head is amazing. The head rotates 360 independently from the hose, so there is never any twisting of the hose. The sprayer function works great to rinse off soapy dishes. The pause function is a nice feature, although I don't use it every day. I mostly use the steady stream. My only regret is that I bought this faucet at Lowes and paid close to $300. "This really is a beautiful faucet. We installed recently in our totally renovated kitchen alongside caesarstone quartz countertop and twin D sink (offset faucet) and it looks amazing. I can only rate this product a 3 out of 5 though as the spool leaked for about a week (inexplicably stopped on it's own) and the button to change from stream to spray does not work reliably - sometimes it won't switch over at all. I should really have pulled it and sent it back by now but I couldn't face it so we live with it way it is, which I admit isn't a great hardship - it usually sticks on spray which is generally where we'd probably keep it anyway. Even with this issue I would probably purchase again - it really is stunning and fits our decor perfectly." – pickymickey

"We just got this faucet and love it! My husband didn't have any problems putting it in. This is a big thing for him because he has struggled with every other faucet he has put in. I love the sleek look and how high the faucet is. It makes it so much easier to clean. Doing dishes is so much easier with the extra height, especially since we don't have a dish washer. The spray function is so smooth and has good water pressure. The buttons easily change water from spray to stream. It is also very solid and looks like it will last years to come. The only thing I wish was that the handle to turn the water on and off was a little bigger and a bit easier to access when I am trying to turn it on without using my hands because I have some food all over them. "Replaced old Hamat faucet. This one was really easy to install, despite very limited space under the sink. I like the simplified mounting. No need for special tool. Faucet looks good and works fine. The spray delivers better pressure than the aerated stream. I like that the flow type stays in the last selected position. Price is reasonable. I was worried about the nylon hose (vs. traditional metal one) but was told by Kohler representative that all Kohler products (even the more expensive one) are built with the nylon hose. Purchased from Amazon and I was pleased with the quick delivery (free, without expedited request)

"The faucet was delivered as ordered. When I unboxed it, I found that the included connecting "hoses" (black braided cover) were too short to make the connection to my existing plumbing. Examination proved that they were unique for this faucet. They had a small diameter male end that screwed directly into the faucet brass base and a 3/8"F.compression thread on the other end. I could not find longer (or stainless steel braid) models at local hardware stores or plumbing supplie houses. I finally had to extend them using parts of two brass 3/8" compression fittings and 8" F to F compression extensions ($20+ additional cost). In operation the faucet works great!" – Willie C

"This faucet is the perfect size for my kitchen where every inch of real estate is worth a premium. Look closely at the dimensions--it's still good sized. I had mine installed without the base plate and since I'm left-handed, my plumber suggested we turn the handle to face straight forward (rather than on the right side as shown in the pictures). I do wish the sprayer would be a tad easier to pull down and return to position. Pretty sure I'll adjust to that over time while I enjoy this gorgeous and highly functional faucet." – Dakota

"As always, Amazon delivered exactly what I ordered on time and in great condition. We knew what we were looking for when we checked prices on Amazon and other sites. It was least expensive here, and shipped in its original factory sealed packaging. The product is beautiful but has smaller water supply lines than our previous faucet so the water pressure at the sink seems lower. Now that we're used to it we're fine with it. Also the hose for the sprayer isn't weighted and we have to feed it back in after using it but that is no big deal. The beauty of the design makes up for both deficiences." – Sheri L. Alo

"Bought this faucet and returned it since the finish had sharp bumps in it that you could feel when you rubbed your hand over the faucet. Cleaning with a paper towel would actually rip the paper towel. I contacted Kohler but they wouldn't stand behind the product. I was VERY disappointed in Kohler's lack of response on this. It was clearly a plating defect but they did not want to help. I could not wait for the returns process to get a replacement so I had to purchase another one elsewhere that also had this defect but to a much lesser extent. Once installed it's a very nice faucet. Feels meaty and looks great. Too bad the lack of manufacturer backing of their product tarnished an otherwise nice faucet." – Practical Guy

"We purchased and installed this faucet back in November of 2009 and have really enjoyed it. I was a bit hesitant, given the price and still think it's not cheap but we re-did the kitchen completely in a modern clean line look and the faucet fits in perfectly. To a certain extent, it's a design element as well as a functioning faucet.

The faucet itself has worked flawlessly and the various combinations that you can contort it into work really well; you can hit any part of the sink and the ability to adjust the height as much as you can is really handy for filling big pots or down low into the sink as well. The various combinations also offer a variety of different looks. The deck mounted handle is also handy for turning it on when your hands are dirty or you've been working with raw meat. You can just turn in on with your wrist and it becomes pretty intuitive quickly with respect to adjusting the temperature.

It feels pretty solidly built but we've only had it for a little over 6 months so not really enough time to comment on durability." – Resipsa

"We had this Grohe Faucet for almost 10 years, and paid an arm and leg (for a number of reasons including the nonexistence of Amazon). It worked extremely well for five years, and then began to bind when swiveling from side to side. BUT it was the ever popular "intermittent" binding. It would bind for a month, and then it would be smooth as silk. Then it would bind for four or five months.

We finally called Grohe (in Indiana, I believe), and they sent out a rep from 80 miles away. Quote: "I've never seen anything like this before, and I've been with Grohe for 21 years." Oh, great. We're unique again, and we spent [...] bucks for this.

Never fear, Grohe will send out a new faucet and, just in case, new couplings so that you have a second set. If you call a plumber, we'll pay for installation.

We called a plumber. He replaced the old with the new (nothing had changed style or parts-wise), and it was once again smooth as glass.

We recently put in a new counter top, and had the same faucet reinstalled (since the same model still exists), but we used the extra couplings and a new sprayer, and all is well. It's beautiful (well, for a faucet, and primarily in my wife's opinion), but better still, it swivels the complete range of a double-wide single sink without a hitch. We rarely use the spray or the extension, but when we need it, it's got a fantastic range.

At $[...], I'd highly recommend THIS faucet. If you've won the lottery or can believe that the recession has been over for 15 months, then go for it even if it's $[...]. But in any event, I don't think you can go wrong with Grohe." – Ethan A. Winning
